Hosting and server logs
The site is planned to be hosted on Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc.). Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP addresses and request headers to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. For details, see Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Analytics: Cloudflare Web Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages are useful. According to Cloudflare, it does not use client-side state such as cookies or localStorage, does not "fingerprint" visitors, and does not track individual visitors across sites. Cloudflare says the IP address is discarded at the nearest Cloudflare data centre and is not stored in its core databases or logs. We only see aggregated statistics. The site currently shows no ads and contains no affiliate links, so no advertising or affiliate tracking cookies are set. If this ever changes, we will update this policy first, name each provider, and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

We link to official sources such as railway and tourist board websites (for example sbb.ch and myswitzerland.com). Once you follow a link, the other site's privacy policy applies.
